1. Service provider

MK-Design services are provided by Mārtiņš Kambaris, a self-employed service provider.

2. Nature of the services

MK-Design provides individually tailored services, including:

• software and web solution development;
• management, accounting and registry systems;
• business process digitalisation and automation;
• API and other system integrations;
• transport, access control and technology system integrations;
• consulting and technical solution design;
• 3D modelling, prototyping and production of custom parts.

Information provided on this website is for general information purposes. The exact scope of work, price and delivery schedule are agreed individually.

3. Quotations and agreements

A customer enquiry does not automatically create an obligation for MK-Design to begin work.

Before a project begins, the parties agree on the scope of work, price or pricing principles, schedule and other material conditions.

An agreement may be documented in a contract, quotation, order confirmation, email correspondence or another mutually accepted form.

4. Pricing and payment

The price of services is determined individually based on project scope, complexity and the resources required.

Larger projects may require an advance payment, interim payments or stage-based billing.

5. Project execution and changes

The customer must provide the information, access credentials, materials and other resources required for the project in a timely manner.

If the agreed project scope changes during execution, MK-Design may revise the price and schedule after informing the customer.

6. Software and intellectual property

Software source code, design, documentation and other project materials are transferred or licensed according to the terms agreed for the specific project.

Third-party software, libraries, platforms and other components remain subject to their respective licences.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal

Where the customer is a consumer and a contract is concluded remotely, a 14-day right of withdrawal may apply in cases provided by applicable law.

If a consumer requests that the service begins during the withdrawal period and later withdraws from the contract, payment may be due for the proportion of the service already provided.

The right of withdrawal may not apply to a service that has been fully performed where the consumer expressly agreed to commencement and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right after full performance.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, such as individually designed 3D parts.

8. 3D products

The characteristics of custom-designed and manufactured 3D parts are agreed before production. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of dimensions, specifications and other source information provided.

9. Liability

MK-Design is not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party services, equipment, internet connectivity, external platforms, customer infrastructure or other circumstances outside MK-Design’s reasonable control.

10. Complaints and disputes

Questions or complaints should first be submitted to info@mk-design.lv.

Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement can be reached, disputes are resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

11. Changes to these terms

MK-Design may update these terms if the services, website operation or applicable requirements change.
